Murder Served Hot did not disappoint this Valentine’s Day at Eola Hills with their entertaining and creative performance. Guests were served champagne upon arriving at Eola Hills before finding their seats. Before the murder mystery investigation and interrogation dinner was served which included a generous portion of either prime rib or salmon and my favorite, especially paired with Eola Hills’ Pinot Noir, was a decadent chocolate cake topped with a light but flavorful chocolate mousse and a slice of strawberry.
I enjoyed the wine so much I went home with not one but two bottles. The performance by Murder Served Hot was entertaining and interactive. While fun overall it would help in the future for the communication by the host to be more clearly delivered. It was difficult to hear at times but even when I did I missed a few key pieces of the investigation. If the story was more in depth with the suspects I think it would have been even more exciting.
The staff at Eola Hills are incredibly energetic, warm, and welcoming. While this event may be over there are a number of events coming up that you won’t want to miss. There’s Yoga and Wine in the Tasting Room on Sunday, March 5, check out their Wine & Wag program on most Fridays starting in June at the Legacy Estate Vineyard, and Retro Movie Nights on First Fridays starting in June. Don’t wait until then stop by for a tasting and explore the beauty that Eola Hills has to offer.
