‘The Cutaway’ book review

By: Stephanie Rose Csaszar

The Cutaway
, written by Christina Novac, follows the story of a young television producer, Virginia Knightly, investigates the disappearance of a Georgetown lawyer in this blend of a mystery and thriller. While it may appear as a simple missing case Knightly believes something more sinister may be at play and dives deep into the corruption of Washington D.C.

The Cutaway is a slow to warm up story but the second half is exciting and filled with an uncovering of secrets within the press, police, and political realm. It is not your typical thriller but more of a thrilling police procedural. For fans of those who enjoy John Grisham and House of Cards. The Cutaway will be released March 21st, 2017 by Atria Books.
