Jurassic Park in Concert was moving, entertaining, and truly a once in a lifetime experience for fans of films and soundtracks. Fans of all ages gathered outside of the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Sunday, March 25 in Jurassic Park shirts and tickets in hand. A few minutes before the concert started members of the orchestra played familiar parts of the epic soundtrack by John Williams.

It was fascinating to hear the soundtrack live while the film played in the background. Fans around me including myself shed a few tears for the most moving pieces of the unforgettable score. The conductor, Norman Huynh, did a fantastic job of providing a smooth transition into the intermission. I loved that the orchestra continued to play into the credits. I will of course watch Jurassic Park dozens more time in my lifetime but now I will always be taken back to hearing the music from the incredibly talented Oregon Symphony.

While Jurassic Park in Concert is sadly behind us four of your favorite films will be brought to life by the Oregon Symphony. Full schedule is included below! Tickets available now exclusively as the Popcorn Package for Saturday nights and Sunday matinees. Buy all four and save!
