Crash Line Productions has released the highly anticipated lineup of their upcoming Boston Calling Music Festival taking place September 25 through 27.
In spectacular fashion the announcement was made at the spring festival during the break between final acts. Headliners for the fall include The Avett Brothers, Alt-J, Alabama Shakes, Hozier, and Of Monsters and Men. The quirky signature announcement video also revealed the likes of Chromeo, Walk the Moon, Misterwives, and Fidlar via the massive 40’ stage screens to the nearly 20,000 cheering fans in attendance.
Fans are sure to find acts in accordance with their hopes as the festival continues to tailor music to the tastes of patrons and build their signature style. This year offers indie rock and pop from various corners of musicdom, spanning indie folk, indie pop, electro funk, thrash, surf rock, and down home country rock.
Many acts, headliner and supporting alike, will be touring off recently released albums, Alabama Shakes‘ Sound and Color, and Twin Shadow‘s Eclipse. Of Monsters and Men will be making their return to City Hall Plaza after they performed at the inaugural Boston Calling in 2013. Rock music lovers of Boston rejoice, for this fall’s festival is sure to be a party for the books.
Tickets are available by presale May 26 at 10 a.m. and for general sale will take place May 27 at 10 a.m. For more details on tickets and the full lineup head to www.bostoncalling.com.
